Drawing is a fantastic resource for a designer. For me drawing has always been about careful observation; it is a powerful way of anchoring an image in my memory. My visual memory is my design resource, so drawing expands that.  The practice of drawing also enables me to create storyboards and illustration briefs, as well as clear briefs for photographers. When one is discussing the production of images visalisations are invaluable.
